DENTAL LAB ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER (MicroDental California, Livermore, CA)

Exclusively focused in cosmetic, implant and digital design for fixed prosthodontics
Responsibilities:
Perform supervisory level administrative and internal/external customer service support; such as responding to general inquiries over phone and email, inventory management, office staff delegation and supervision
Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, implementing of career development plans for all direct reports
Act as location liaison to HR department following procedures and requirements in screening/interviewing, hiring, training, termination, performance evaluation, record keeping, timecard maintenance and counselling of personnel. Monitoring and projecting staffing needs
Act as location liaison to Accounting department, performing duties in support of accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing and collections
Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams and departments
Identify key areas of improvement, plan administrative processes, establish guidelines, and implement protocols
Use Magic Touch and Intacct systems and remain up to date though seminars, research, and representatives
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, including timely accident reporting and assurance that mandatory safety measures are being followed
All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required
Qualifications:
5+ years in a leadership or senior administrative role in dental laboratory/industry preferred
Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Possess a valid driver’s license and pass company MVR check for occasional driving
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent required
Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
Under direction, provides clerical and administrative support to management.
Answer phones and assist customers with any questions or concerns
Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, reports and other correspondence
Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings
Maintain lab inventory, prepare on-line requisitions for inventory re-stocking
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments; Track packages to ensure on-time delivery
Additional duties as assigned or as otherwise required
Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year of clerical experience in a corporate environment preferred
Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, and techniques preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level
Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn new programs
High level of attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Highly motivated with the ability to quickly learn procedures and products
Exceptional customer service skills
Team player is a must
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods of time
High School diploma or equivalent required
Salary: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
