CAD/CAM Technician (ADL, Louisville, KY)

We are looking for a determined, high energy, well-organized individual for the position of CAD/CAM Technician to join our ADL Dental Laboratory location in Louisville, Kentucky.

*Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continuous employment.*

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read, interpret, design and print dental restorations to client's specifications by utilizing dental CAD software programs

  • Perform dental model digital scanning using 3Shape system

  • Ensure timely milling machine and other equipment maintenance, regularly loading and unloading of mills

  • Troubleshoot machine repairs with outsourcing via phone and email, coordinating sending any needed repairs offsite with the OEM or repair vendors

  • Perform quality control of cases

  • Download and process Intraoral Scans.

  • Assist in surgical guide production with nesting, digital printing, post-processing using ultrasonic cleaning, and curing equipment, grinding, and polishing

  • All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

  • Previous working experience in a dental laboratory preferred

  • Understanding of dental anatomy and dental lab terminology

  • Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, 3Shape, and other internal software systems.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, while consistently producing quality restorations

  • Detail oriented to identify sub-standard work and diplomatically communicate for corrections

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time

  • Have a positive, outgoing, and self-motivated attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Milling center environment, computer-based workstation. Benchwork with high speed and low-speed handpieces

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
