JOB SUMMARY:
The Lab Manager of MicroDental Lab (BecDen), located in Sandy, Utah will oversee our marketing and sales functions as well as the day-to-day operations of the business. Our Lab Manager will be true leader of the team, consulting frequently with CEO or his designee on all aspects of operations. He/she will be responsible for effective planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing, and decision making to attain desirable profit making results and customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT:
• Manage all workflow’s, processes and procedure’s from development to execution
• Management of production staff, accountability, and staff development
• Develop, standardize and execute processes and procedures ensuring the best practices are being followed throughout the laboratory
• Assist in the development of and ensure accountability for production department materials and labor budgets
• Assist with product analysis and pricing development

SALES RETENTION & MARKETING FUNCTIONS:
• Communicate frequently and effectively with assigned accounts to grow and retain sales, visit offices, meet with doctors and give presentations
• Assist with troubleshooting and help to manage doctors of concern
• Attend tradeshows, meetings and other events as a representative of MicroDental

EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT:
• Initiate and manage employee performance evaluation’s, goal setting, and accountability
• Manage and provide guidance between departments such as CAD, Implants and Models
• Organize and manage the training of new staff

QUALITY & SAFETY:
• Ensure that safety protocol and safe practices are being followed throughout the laboratory
• Exceptional ability to manage above-average performance standards and demanding schedules
• Excellent project management, interpersonal and business communications skills with the experience required to remain highly focused and exceptionally productive in fast paced high-pressure settings.
• Minimize material waste and control material costs in conjunction with the finance department
• Responsible for ensuring standard operating procedures are followed consistently
• Ensure that fabrication is being done right the first time and control defects/re-work
• Coordinate procedures for smooth workflow and on time delivery
