DENTAL TECHNICIAN (MicroDental Canada, Hamilton, ON)

We are searching for a determined, high energy, well organized Dental Lab Technician to join our team.
*Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000 CAD, after 120 days of continuous employment.*

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:
Acrylic finishing: complete denture/removable partial denture
Wax and finish PFM frames, including large bridges, focusing on margins and fit
Responsible for producing the esthetics that our customers have come to expect
Operate a variety of dental laboratory tools and equipment
Denture partial and Implant denture set-ups/waxing/finishing and overall knowledge of over-denture and attachments
Repairs/Relines
All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required
Qualifications:
3+ years previous experience in a dental lab technician capacity
Registered Dental Technician (RDT) certification preferred
Proficiency in full contour crown and bridge contouring and stain and glaze
Experience and working knowledge in digital dentures preferred
High level of attention to detail with exceptional quality standards
Excellent hand/eye coordination
Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
Ability to utilize magnification goggles for extended periods of time
Ability to stand for extended hours and lift weight up to 20lbs.
High School Diploma or equivalent
