ACCOUNTING CLERK (MicroDental California, Livermore, CA)

We are looking for a determined, high energy, well organized Accounting Clerk to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable, including invoicing and payments.

• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes

• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, emails, mail and filing

• Assist with tax preparation and filing

• AR and AP entries and administration

• Ensure all transactions matched with statements and financial records and that all files are up-to-date and accurately labeled

• Maintain and organize accounts payable registers and check remittances

• All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

• Clear understanding and proven experience in accounting and accounting principles

• Previous work experience in a bookkeeper or similar role

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to solve problems and communicate effectively through multiple channels- including phone, email and in-person

• Keep files up-to-date and accurately labeled

• Very good working knowledge of MS Office, and office equipment such as photocopier, scanner, etc.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
